Intended use

DUPLEX 1500/700 to 5500/2000 RS5 are intended for ventilation of civilian and residential buildings
as well as commercial and industrial premises where, besides ventilation, heating or cooling are also
requested. One unit can provide all three functionalities.
DUPLEX RS5 series represent an innovative solution in projects where hot-air heating or cooling is
more advantageous than using traditional solutions such as heating with radiators or locally installed
cooling in the form of air-conditioning (production premises, workshops, repair shops and similar). Be it
the reason that the infrastructure does not provide sufficient power to achieve requested interior
temperature (e.g. floor heating), its operation is not economical or the procurement of the
infrastructure is costly. Units RS5 meet specific interior requirements (premises where absence of
heaters or central heating radiators is requested, e.g. car dealership).
RS5 units meet the requirements of Commission Regulation (EU) No. 1253/2014 (Ecodesign) in the
defined working area.
