The installed 400W Series equipment can be accessed as described below:
LRU Access: Bell models 407
1. GA 35/36/37 ANTENNA: FS84.0 for dual antenna installation; FS79.0 for single antenna installations.
Remove environmental seal, remove four antenna screws and lift the antenna enough to disconnect
antenna connector.
2. OVERHEAD CIRCUIT BREAKER PANEL: Access or remove by extracting the mounting screws along
the side of the circuit breaker panel.
3. CYCLIC CONTROL GRIPS: remove by extracting mounting screw at bottom of grip.
4. COOLING FAN: FS24.63 Access by removing 407-030-202-148 COVER, LOWER, RH. Remove two
screws, disconnect connector and air duct.
5. 400W SERIES UNIT: FS40 Access or remove by using a 3/32 allen head screwdriver to loosen the
locking mechanism through the access hole on the front of the unit. Note: location may vary slightly
depending whether or not a dual navigator system is installed.
