Purchasing and Loading
Additional MapSource
Maps
To find out the version of the maps that
are loaded on your c510, open the Menu
page. Touch
Info. To enable additional maps, you
need your unit ID (see

to see if an update for your map
software is available.
You can also purchase additional
MapSource map data from Garmin and
load the maps on your c510's internal
memory or on an optional SD card.
To load maps to your c510 memory
or SD card, select the name for your
"Garmin" drive or SD card drive. Refer
to the MapSource Help file for more
information about using MapSource and
loading maps on your c510.

Loading MapSource
Waypoints on Your c510
Using MapSource, you can save
locations (also called waypoints) and
transfer them to your c510. For more
information about creating waypoints in
MapSource, see the Help file (press F1
to open the Help file).
After you have created the waypoints,
select
File
> Save. Select
eXchange Format
as
Type. Click the
With your c510 connected to your
computer, copy the *.gpx file into the
Garmin\gpx
folder in the "Garmin"
drive. The waypoints you created in
MapSource are now in

Favorites.
