Setting the acoustic signal:
In addition to the optical display (e.g. indicating the end of the cycle,
errors) you can also choose to set an acoustic signal.
1. Press the ON/OFF button.

If the name of a stage of a cycle is shown on the display, this means a
programme is active. You must first of all cancel the programme:
– Press the RESET key combination.
The display will read CONFIRM CANCEL?
– Press the OK/START button. This will cancel the programme.
2. Go to the SOUND VOLUME setting; see the section "Adapting an op-
tion/setting".
3. Set the value for the sound volume.
You can set a value from 0 to 5. At 5 the acoustic signals are very loud,
