Chapter 6 Softune Workbench Simulator

6 Softune Workbench Simulator

This chapter describes the debugging functionality of the Softune Workbench Simulator.

Softune Workbench includes a core simulator. This simulator can be used to debug all core

related functions of your application. Resource functions are not supported.

Double click on Simulator.sup to start debugging session.

Beside step execution and use of breakpoints it is possible to simulate IO accesses and

simulate resource interrupts. Therefore use menus 'Setup' -> 'Debug Environment' -> 'I/O

Port...' or 'Interrupt..."
