AQUA DET4
The panel Det4 powders is showed in the figure above. On the left side of the DET4 there is the solenoid to enable
dosage of the solid detergent (2). At the end of the solenoid there is a ¾ inch junction (3), with a pvc tube 4x6.
The other end of the tube is connected to the siphon break (4). The siphon break is then connected with a metal
tube to the container of the capsules of detergent (1).
The container of detergent capsule, must be combined with a pipe (5) which ends directly in the tub of the
dishwasher.

PROGRAMMING
3.1
Prime
Referring to User Menu (par 3.2.1, DET 4 manual), the entry 'Enable cleaner' allows you to dose solid detergent
for one minute. During this time (1 minute) the solid is dosed with a cycle period equal to the sum of the time saved
in EVTON and EVTOFF (see par. 3.5 manual settings DET4 manual). During the cycle, the system dispenses
detergent for a time equal to the one saved in EVTON.
Refer to Fig.1.
3.2
Operation
As mentioned in the introduction, the dosage may be function of time or conductivity read in the tub. Referring to
Section 3.7 of the DET4 manual, you have to choose the type of dishwasher and dosing mode.
3.3
Dosage time of solid cleaner
Whether the dosage is in time, or is a function of the conductivity read in the tub, you need to plan the timing of the
opening and closing of the solenoid: EVTON and EVTOFF (see Settings Menu; DET4 manual paragraph 3.5).
The sum of the times EVTON and EVTOFF, generates a period of the dosing cycle during which the detergent is
dosed for a time EVTON. The choice of the ratio EVTON / EVTOFF depends on the product used and the capacity
of the tank. The ratio chosen plays a very important role whether as regards the real amount of detergent to dose,
or as regards the time required to dissolve the detergent in the water. If the system works by reading conductivity ,
choose EVTON too large compared to EVTOFF can bring the system to work with conductivity values much higher
than the SetPoint. Instead, very small EVTON compared to EVTOFF, can cause an excessive time to reach the
conductivity SETPOINT (Caution in case the OFA alarm is enabled; par 3.8 manual DET4).
