Safety instructions

Careful installation and operation are essential to ensure the full functional capability of the device and

the plant. In particular, pay attention to the labeling to make sure that the device is connected to the

system for which it has been configured. Before installing, please read through these instructions and

familiarize yourself with the device.

7.1 Maintenance

The device requires no maintenance. Clean only with a damp cloth. Do not use solvents or other ag-

gressive liquids.

7.2 Guarantee/liability

AQUAMETRO guarantees the quality of this product as specified in the General Terms of Business.

AQUAMETRO is certified according to ISO 9001/EN 29001 and its products are manufactured based

on current standards and recognized guidelines. AQUAMETRO accepts no liability for improper instal-

lation or operation.

The liability for installation and proper use of the device lies with the owner or operator. Thus it is es-

sential to ensure that:

• Assembly and operating instructions are complied with.

• The device is used only for the purpose for which it is designed.

8 Installation and connection

A suitable point should be chosen for installation of the device, whereby particular attention should be

paid to the following:

• Ready access for installation and service.

• Location protected from the influence of damp, heat and direct sunlight.

• Cable entry from below.

8.1 Installation

• Open device by removing the housing screws (3) and the cover (1).

• Place housing cover aside.

• Drill fixing holes (4) as shown in the diagramme of the device dimensions.

• Fix the base (2) to the wall using the enclosed Ø 3.5 x 30 mm screws, or, if the wall is smooth,

using the double-sided adhesive tape.
