4. On the new microprocessor module, check or set the jumper settings
according to those shown in Figure 5 and Table 1.
CAUTIONS: All microprocessors must have the same processor
speed or the jumpers on all the microprocessor modules must be
jumpered to the speed of the lowest-speed microprocessor.
All microprocessors must have the same cache size.
All 200 MHz/1 MB microprocessors must be used on a microprocessor
module with Dell part number 95545.
All 200 MHz/1 MB microprocessors must be used in conjunction
with Dell BIOS Revision A05 or greater and Dell customer diagnos-
tics software 3.79D00 or greater. The BIOS and diagnostics software
are available through the Dell bulletin board service (BBS) and the
Dell Web site at www.dell.com.
If a Dell customer diagnostics diskette is included with your system,
use the diskette instead of the Dell Server Assistant CD.
For microprocessor modules with one microprocessor, populate the
PROCESSOR 1 socket first.
