The VxRail P670F is a 2U server that supports:
● Up to two third-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors
● 16 DDR4 DIMM slots for single-socket configuration and 32 DDR4 DIMM slots for dual-socket configuration
● Two fault tolerant redundant (FTR) mixed mode power supply units
● The following storage configurations:
○ For a single-socket configuration: Up to 24 x 2.5-inch SAS/SATA front disk drives with four universal slots to support
optional NVMe drives. No support for rear disk drive.
○ For a dual-socket configuration: Up to 24 x 2.5-inch SAS/SATA front disk drives (with four universal slots to support
optional NVMe drives) and 4 x 2.5-inch SAS/SATA rear disk drives.
The VxRail P670N is a dual-socket, 2U server that supports:
● Two third-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors
● 32 DDR4 DIMM slots
● Two FTR mixed mode power supply units
● Up to 24 x 2.5-inch all NVMe front disk drives
● DPU/SmartNIC
You cannot mix different capacity drives in VxRail P670N.
The VxRail V670F is a dual-socket, 2U server that supports:
● Two third-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors
● 32 DDR4 DIMM slots
● Two FTR mixed mode power supply units
● Up to 24 x 2.5-inch SAS/SATA front disk drives (with four universal slots to support optional NVMe drives)
● DPU/SmartNIC
The VxRail S670 is a 2U server that supports:
● Up to two third-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors
● 32 DDR4 DIMM slots
● Two FTR mixed mode power supply units
● Up to 12 x 3.5-inch SAS/SATA front disk drives with 4 x 2.5-inch SAS/SATA/NVMe rear disk drives.
