To take out the grease filter press

the locking clip in towards the

middle of the filter. Holding carefully,

lower and remove the filter. Take

care not to let the filter drop onto the

hob below.

Clean the filter

–

with a nylon brush, warm

water with a little washing up liquid.

–

with the short side upright in the

lower basket.

It can be placed diagonally, if

wished. If necessary, raise the upper

basket.

Ensure the spray arm is not ob-

structed.

Note: some dishwasher detergents

may cause the surface of the metal

grease filter to discolour.

However, this will not affect the func-

tioning of the grease filter in any

way.

After cleaning, leave the filter to dry

for a while on an absorbent surface

before putting it back in place.

When removing the filter for clean-

ing, also clean off any residues of oil

or fat from the now accessible hous-

ing to prevent the risk of these catch-

ing fire.

When putting the grease filter back in

position, ensure that the locking clip is

visible facing down towards the hob.

Should the grease filter be put back

upside down:

Insert a small screwdriver into the slit to

disengage it. Do not let the filter drop

on to the hob below.
