5. GENERAL SAFETY RULES
Workplace safety
• The work station should be kept clean and well lit.
Disorder or insufficient lighting can cause accidents.
• Do not use power tools in explosive atmospheres
with flammable liquids, gases or vapours. During
operation, the power tool generates sparks that can
cause an explosion.
• Children and bystanders should not be allowed to
enter the workplace. Lack of concentration may result
in loss of control of the device.
Electric safety
• The power tool plug must fit into the power outlet. It
is forbidden to modify the plug, use any adapters in
order to adapt the plug to the socket. An unmodified
plug reduces the risk of electric shock.
• Avoid contact with earthed surfaces such as pipes,
radiators or refrigerators. The risk of electric shock
increases when the user's body is earthed.
• Avoid contact with precipitation or moisture. Water
and moisture in the device increase the risk of electric
shock.
• Do not overload the power cord. Do not use the
power tool while holding the cable; do not use the
cable to hang the device, and do not pull out the plug
by pulling the cable. Protect the cable from high
temperatures, oils and sharp edges. Damage to the
cable increases the risk of electric shock.
• For outdoor use. Use extension cords designed for use
outdoors. Using a suitable extension cord reduces the
risk of electric shock.
• In case of operation in a humid environment, use a
residual current circuit breaker to reduce the risk of
electric shock.
Safety of persons
• Exercise caution when working. Be careful and
cautious in all actions. Do not start work when you
