Installation Instructions

Before installing

Take the drop prevention measure by attaching the drop prevention wire to the mounting screw hole.

Mounting the camera to the pan/tilt head

Prepare a commercially available drop prevention wire when mounting this unit to the pan/tilt head.

Mounting the camera to anything other than the pan/tilt head

Prepare the drop prevention wire and camera mounting fixture when attaching to anything other than the

pan/tilt head.

1 Drop prevention wire (optional): 2

Always use the drop prevention wire.

A drop prevention wire is available as an optional accessory. Use with as small slack as allowed by the

installation location or the installation method.

Secure wire diameter of 2 mm (3/32 inches) or more, length of 300 mm (11-13/16 inches) or less,

and strength of the mounting section of 2000 N or more when using a commercially available drop

prevention wire. Also, separately prepare the mounting screw matching the mounting specification.

Camera side

2 Camera mounting screws (to be obtained by customer): 2

Size: 3/8-16 UNC

Consider the thickness of the camera mounting fixture for the length.

3 Installation side wire mounting screw (M6 or M4) (to be obtained by customer): 2

Use an anchor bolt at the installation location and secure the strength of ten times of the entire weight.

4 Flat washers (to be obtained by customer): 4 (for mounting the camera)

For 3/8 inch screw

5 Spring washers (to be obtained by customer): 4 (for mounting the camera)

For 3/8 inch screw

6 Camera mounting fixture (to be obtained by customer): 1

Prepare the fixture with material and shape that can withstand the entire weight of the camera and the

lens.
