ating in a fabric with an McDATA 2640 SAN router.

CRC errors were seen on trunk ports between an HP 8/40 and 8/80

switch with a particular SFP type.

GNN_ID query for self NWWN from target results in failure due to

frame reduction logic, causing the Target Port Link to go down, leading

to discovery failures from the host.

A Java out-of-memory condition occurs after WebTools session expired.

Port RSCNs are sent to DPC (VIs and VTs) whenever the configuration

changes, which is unrelated to VI/VT. This affects any application that

uses frame redirect zoning.

With both RD and TI zones configured, a connectivity issue can occur

after hafailover and hareboot.

Frame drop was observed on 4-Gb and 8-Gb switches due to a time

window when a port in a trunk goes offline and the route is not properly

recalculated.

An incorrect status (marginal) occurred when the power cord was un-

If the contents of the /etc/inetd.conf file are modified, the file

may be deleted the next time the switch software is upgraded. User

will not be able to access the switch through the network when this

occurs.

Out of Memory condition on switch occurred in interop mode 2 fabric,

due to memory leak in nsd process, causing hafailover/hareboot to

occur.
