Programming
Attention. The EP3 has a single key for all programming operations.
Within the programming menus it will be possible to enter/modify various configuration
parameters.
The procedure for entering/modifying a value is as follows:
•
To change the value of the active (flashing) digit, press the key once (NOT prolonged or
long press).
•
To change the active digit, press and hold the key until the next digit starts flashing. At this
point immediately release the key.
•
To confirm the entered number, press and hold the key until the next menu item appears.
At this point, release the key.
Outside the programming menu, pressing the key can have two effects:
•
Single pressure: the function set with the parameter
•
Long press: access the programming menu
To access the programming parameters of the device, keep the key pressed and, after about 4
seconds, the writing
about 2 seconds. 3 zeros will appear with the first one on the right flashing.
Set the value 273 and confirm. If the password is set incorrectly, programming will be exited.
Within the menu it will be possible to view and modify the instrument configuration parameters.
•
To scroll through the menu parameters, press the key once (NOT prolonged or long press).
•
To change the parameter value, keep the key pressed until the current parameter value
appears.
•
At this point immediately release the key; the rightmost digit will be the currently active
(flashing) digit.
•
To exit the menu, wait about ten seconds without pressing the key.

1 ) Value to be displayed for one revolution of the shaft
This parameter, together with the following one, allows you to program the value to be shown on
the display for each revolution of the shaft. The permitted values
setting of the decimal point position or, after having programmed the last digit to the left, by
pressing the key again (long pressure) the decimal point will flash and with a single press of the
key it can be move to the desired location.
2) Number of decimal digits
Represents the number of decimal digits to be shown on the display, permitted values
to 4.
Example 1: for each revolution of the shaft there is a movement on the machine equal to 50, set
