AM-TX3-100 requires DisplayPort Alt-Mode over USB-C support on the connected laptop. If the
device is connected to a port or adapter that does not support DisplayPort Alt-Mode over USB-C, a
message will be shown on the Front of Room display presenting the user with a QR code and support
site for troubleshooting and other presentation options.

Connect Adaptor pairing and firmware updates.

To update AM-TX3-100 firmware through the AirMedia receiver's web configuration interface:
Connect the AM-TX3-100 to your laptop and press the presentation button to stop sharing.

Navigate to Settings à AirMedia à Connect Devices, select the checkbox next to the
o
transmitter you wish to update (or the select all box in the upper left), and click the Upload
Firmware box in the upper right.
Select the firmware file from your laptop (.zip) and click Upload.
o
Once the file transfer completes, you can close the File Upload dialog box.
o
You will see the update status shown in the Connect Devices table. When the update has
o
completed the device will re-connect and show a success message in the table.

Device firmware can also be updated locally using Crestron Toolbox software. Refer to

Connect Adaptor Wireless Conferencing Support
Wireless conferencing is now supported on the AM-TX3-100(-I) Connect Adaptor. When
o
conferencing peripherals are connected to the AirMedia receiver, the Connect Adaptor can
wirelessly take advantage of the in-room peripherals (camera, mic, and speaker). No drivers
or software are required to be installed or run on the laptop.
Wireless Conferencing on the Connect Adaptor supports both PCs and Mac devices.

This requires AirMedia Series 3 receiver firmware version 3.0100.0066 or later.

Connect Adaptor Auto-Update
Connect Adaptors are now automatically updated through the paired AirMedia receiver

when new firmware has been released. Connect Adaptor firmware will be automatically
