Installing and Removing the Battery

Locking catch—Press to release the battery.

Catches—Insert these into the slots near the bottom of the phone at battery installation.

Metal contact—Match the contact on the battery to the contact on the phone.

Charging the Phone and the Battery

The Cisco Unified Wireless IP Phone 7920 is powered by a rechargeable battery. To charge the battery

when it is installed in the phone, follow these steps:

1. Connect the cable from the power supply to the base of the phone.

2. Connect the power supply to an AC wall outlet as shown in Figure 2.
