ÄGas burners
Notes
G a s b u r n e r s
If you hear a quiet hum when the burner is operating,
■
this is completely normal.
The first time you use your appliance, it is normal for
■
certain odours to be released. This does not pose
any risks, and is not a fault. The odours will
disappear over time.
An orange flame is normal. The colour is a result of
■
dust in the air, boiled-over liquids, etc.
If the burner's flame accidentally goes out, turn the
■
control knob for the burner to position 0. Wait at
least a minute until you reignite the flame.
Setting the hob
The marks on the control knobs show you the position
of the corresponding burner and the setting, from high
to low heat. The setting is infinitely variable.
Notes
Only ignite the hotplates if the pan supports and all
■
burner parts are correctly fitted.
The burners and ignition plugs must be clean and

dry.
Only use the accessories specified. Do not line the
■
stainless steel recess (e.g. with aluminium foil).
