Tape

Loading a tape

Open the lid with your hand and insert
a tape.
With the side
you want to
play facing up
To remove the tape, lift up the tape from the
side as shown in the illustration.

Close the lid with your hand.

Playing a tape

You can use TYPE I (normal) tape.

Press FUNCTION repeatedly to switch
the function to TAPE.

Press TUNER MEMORY/DIRECTION
repeatedly until g appears to play one
side or h (or j * ) to play both sides.

Press TAPE nN.
Press TAPE nN again to play the
bottom side.
* The tape deck stops automatically after repeating
the sequence five times.
To
Do this
Press x.
Stop play
Press X on the remote. Press again
Pause
to resume play.
Fast-forward or
Slide the knob to m or to M
(Press m or M on the remote).
rewind
Notes
• If you do not close the lid, you cannot start playing
the tape.
• If you open the lid while playing a tape, the deck
stops playing.
