You can record from a CD, radio or any of the connected components.

Press TAPE II.

Recording from a CD

(CD Synchro Recording)

Recording manually

Load a recordable tape into the cassette holder.

Load a CD onto the disc tray.

Turn FUNCTION until "CD" appears in

the display.

Press CD SYNC.

Turn FUNCTION to select the source yet

want to record from.

Load a CD or tune in the desired station,

Press TAPE REC 0 (or 0 REC on the

remote).

The tape stands by for recording.

"m"

and "F" (or "4") appear.

To start recording on the side facing away from you, press TAPE 4,

until "I~W"

changes to "dm."

Press DIR MODE on the remote repeatedly to select "z'

to record on one side of

the tape, or "=I"

or "(=I"

to record on both sides.

Press TAPE II, and then start playing

the desired source.

To stop recording

Press TAPE W.

Tips

* This system does not detect the tape type (Type I

(normal), Type II (CrO?), Type IV (metal), etc.).

For recording manually:

To pause recording, press TAPE II.
