AERIAL CONNECTION

Indoor aerial

Take out the antenna holder which is packed together with the receiver and attach it to the TV cabinet inserting the four

clicks into the holes on the rear panel as shown in figure. F.

Push in the telescopic aerial (supplied) into the holder as shown in figure C.

Attach the leads of telescopic dipole aerial to the aerial terminal socket through the 7502—300Q adaptor as shown in

figure B. Pull out the rods and spread them.

Adjust their length, angle and direction for best reception.

Outdoor aerial

If it is difficult to get good reception with the indoor aerial, .... you may be located in a concrete building, a mountainous

area or surrounded by many tall buildings... . use the outdoor aerial for better results.

Optimum colour reception requires a good outdoor aerial. If you intend to use a previously installed outdoor aerial, check

the aerial and its leads for the effects of weathering. Your Toshiba dealer or service personnel can advise you the best aerial

to use in your area.

When using an outdoor aerial, disconnect the leads of the indoor aerial from the aerial terminal socket.

In case of using the coaxial cable (752) for UHF/VHF

aerial, connect the plug (refer to figure D) into the 75Q socket as

shown in figure A.

{n case of using the twin-lead type feader (300Q) for UHF/VHF aerial, trim the lead as shown in figure E and connect the

lead to the terminals on the adaptor. Then connect the adaptor to the 75Q socket as shown in figure B.
