This function is convenient when recording the contents of a
CD onto a cassette tape.

Up to 24 tracks can be programmed.

EDIT?
This function programs the playback of that many CD tracks (be-
ginning with the first and progressing in order) that can be con-
tained within the time designated

EDIT?
This function automatically rearranges the order in which tracks
are played back, so as to allow the closest possible matching of
playback time to the time designated.

PGM button (9.

When the button is pressed once, the player will enter the
Auto Program Edit mode.

When the button is pressed twice, the player will enter the
Compu
Program Edit rnode.

To begin a program from a desired track, press
[<, PP] buttons © to select the desired track
number.
@ This operation is unnecessary if you with to begin from the
first track on the disc.

Press the number buttons to set the length (time)
of the tape desired.
® Those tracks which can be recorded on tape side A will
be programmed automatically, after which a pause will be
programmed,
followed by those tracks which can be re-
corded on tape side B.
®@ After displaying the playing time for auto program edit, the
COMPU
PGM indicator will flash; if AUTO/COMPU
PGM
button @ is pressed while the indicator is flashing, compu
program editing will be performed.
4.
When PLAY button @ is pressed, playback will
begin in the programmed
order.
To confirm the playing time:
After completing the compu-program edit operation, press AUTO!
COMPU PGM button (); each time the button is pressed, the results
of the A-side and B-side programs will be displayed alternately.
To cancel:
Same as for canceling programmed
play.

A disc which contains more than 30 selections sometimes cannot
