SUPER-HIGH
PICTURE
QUALITY
With conventional displays, the absorption of external light by a
front glass screen results in a deterioration of picture quality. In
the Hi-Fi Monitor Receiver, however, the front glass has been
eliminated through the use of a new tinted face, thus virtually
eliminating transmissivity and greatly increasing contrast. The
CRT forms a 29-inch, full-square screen, thus allowing extremely
high image quality from edge to edge and corner to corner.
