IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical unit, basic precautions should always
be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or
injury to persons, including the following:
1. Read ALL instructions before using the unit.
2. WARNING: Assemble the heater as described in the
instructions prior to use.
3. CAUTION: Risk of Electric Shock. DO NOT open to try to
repair the heater yourself.
4. This heater may get hot when in use. To avoid burns, do
not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Do not move this
heater when still hot.
5. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows,
bedding, paper, clothes and curtains at least .91m / 3ft
from the front of the heater and keep them away from
the sides, top, and rear. DO NOT place towels or other
objects on the heater.
6. Use extreme caution when the heater is used in the
presence of children. Never leave the heater unattended.
7. DO NOT operate any heater with a damaged cord or after
the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or has been
damaged in any manner. Return heater to authorized
service examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment,
or repair.
8. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry
areas and similar indoor locations. Never locate heater
where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
9. DO NOT touch the control panel or plug in with wet
hands.
10. FOR FREESTANDING TYPE ASSEMBLING: DO NOT run
cord under carpeting. DO NOT cover cord with throw
rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away
from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
11. DO NOT insert or allow foreign objects to enter any
ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an
electrical shock or fire, or damage the heater.
WARNING: This heater has a voltage rating of 120 volts. The cord has a plug as shown in A.
An adapter as shown in C is available for connecting three-blade grounding-type plugs to
two-slot receptacles. The grounding plug extending from the adapter must be connected to
a permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box. The adapter should not be used
if a three-slot grounded receptacle is available. DO NOT DEFEAT THE SAFETY PURPOSE OF
THE GROUNDED PLUG.

12. To prevent a possible fire, DO NOT block the air intakes
or exhaust in any manner, DO NOT use on soft surfaces,
like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
13. A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside.
Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable
liquids are used or stored.
14. WARNING: Risk of Fire — Keep combustible material
such as furniture, papers, clothes, and curtains at least
3 feet (0.9m) from the front of heater and away from the
sides and rear.
15. Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/
receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or
relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
16. To avoid fire or shock hazard, plug the unit directly into
a 120V electrical outlet.
17. To disconnect heater, turn controls off, then remove
plug from outlet. Pull firmly on plug. DO NOT unplug by
pulling on the cord.
18. Always unplug the unit before moving or whenever the
heater is not in use. Use only for intended household
use as described in this manual. Any other use not
recommended by the manufacturer may cause
fire, electric shock, or injury to persons. The use of
attachments not recommend or sold by unauthorized
dealers may cause hazards.
19. DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or
mechanical functions on this unit. Doing so will void
your warranty. The inside of the unit contains no user
serviceable parts. Only qualified personnel should
perform all service.
20. Connect to properly grounded outlets only.
21. Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.
