THUNDERBOLT™ 2
Dual Thunderbolt™ 2 ports allow users to daisy-
chain the Thunderbolt™ Station 2 as part of six
Thunderbolt™ devices. Thunderbolt™ 2 takes
the dual 10Gb/s bi-directional channels of the
original Thunderbolt™ interface and combines
them into one 20Gb/s bi-directional channel.
USB 3.0
The Thunderbolt™ Station 2 features three USB 3.0 5Gb/s ports. The front facing USB 3.0 port
features Stand Alone Charging. This allows users to charge devices without the Thunderbolt™
Station 2 being connected to a computer.
