CAREFULLY READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE INSTALLING AND USING THE
HEATING ELEMENT.
IMPORTANT!
THE ELEMENT IS INTENDED ONLY FOR
CONVENTIONAL WATER BEDS WITH
MINIMUM DIMENSIONS 75X200 CM AND
MINIMUM DEPTH OF WATER OF 17 CM.
THE MATTRESS MUST BE PLACED ON A
HARD BASE.
THE ELEMENT IS NOT INTENDED FOR
MEDICAL USE.
THE ELEMENT SHOULD BE CONNECTED
ONLY TO 220-240 V AC.
THE HEATING ELEMENT MUST NOT BE
SWITCHED ON WHEN THE MATTRESS IS
NOT FILLED WITH WATER DURING
EMPTYING OR FILLING.
ENSURE THAT THE BEDDING DOES NOT
COME INTO CONTACT WITH THE HEATING
ELEMENT AS THIS WILL LEAD TO OVER-
HEATING
SHARP OBJECTS SUCH AS NEEDLES AND
PINS MUST NOT BE INSERTED IN THE
ELEMENT.
THIS APPLIANCE CAN BE USED BY
CHILDREN AGED FROM 8 YEARS AND
ABOVE AS WELL AS PERSONS WITH
REDUCED PHYSICAL,SENSORY OR MENTAL
CAPABILITIES OR LACK OF EXPERIENCE AND
KNOWLEDGE IF THEY HAVE BEEN GIVEN
SUPERVISION OR INSTRUCTIONS CONCERN-
ING USE OF THE APPLIANCE IN A SAFE WAY
AND UNDERSTAND THE HAZARDS
INVOLVED.
CHILDREN SHALL NOT PLAY WITH THE
APPLIANCE.
CLEANING AND USER MAINTENANCE
SHALL NOT BE DONE BY CHILDREN
WITHOUT SUPERVISION.
THE HEATING ELEMENT, THE THERMOSTAT
AND THE CONTROL DEVICE
The heating element is supplied with a
thermostat and a control device. The
thermostat controls the temperature in the
heating element, and the control device is
used to set the timer and the temperature.
CHECKING THE ELEMENT
The function of the element is checked as
follows:
Plug the element connector into the ther-

mostat and the mains plug into the mains
power point.
Set the control device to the

maximum temperature. See "adjusting the
control device" for instructions. The heating
element should now become warm to the
touch after a short time.
Withdraw the plug from the mains

IMPORTANT NOTE ON INSTALLATION IN
WATERBEDS!
An opening must be made in the base of the
bed for the entry of the cable, or a corner of the
bottom panel must be cut out. The element
should be placed under the water mattress and
the safety liner avoiding all creases.
