Windows XP Operating System

The Spire CXP8000 color server now runs on the Windows XP Professional operating system.

Note: It is highly recommended that a technical engineer perform all operating system and

system administration activities—for example, reinstallation and system backup and restore.

New Acrobat Version (6.0)

The Spire CXP8000 color server includes the new Adobe

edition.

PDF 1.5

The Spire CXP800 color server now supports the Adobe PDF 1.5 file format.

Job Info from PPD

You can now enter free text to the following fields from the Spire color server PPD file

(Windows client workstations only):

Account

Recipient

Comments

When you submit the job to the Spire color server, the added text will automatically be copied to

the relevant fields in the Job Info parameter (Job Parameters window).

Limitations:

Job Info is not available for Adobe PageMaker
