INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE & MAINTENANCE
TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
All container transport, handling and stacking operations using forklifts must be performed by duly qualified personnel with specific training in the
safe use of such work equipment.
The forklift truck driver must respect the established speed limits. It is also important to respect the maximum loads and stacking factors printed on
the container. Failure to follow these instructions and any general rules for driving forklift trucks could result in serious accidents and/or could
seriously damage or even break the containers.
In order to transport the containers safely and reliably the walls of the container must be properly fitted into the base and the lid of the container
must also be securely fitted and fastened with the safety catches.
Never move a HybridBox or a stack of them by pushing them with the blades of the forklift. This could cause serious damage to the container.
Check that the containers are properly stacked during transport and storage. Otherwise, there is a risk of accidents and/or damage to the containers
due to an unstable stacking arrangement.
Should any irregularity or breakage be noticed in a stack of containers, the foreman should be informed as soon as possible so that the pile can be
restacked securely and major incidents avoided.
To prevent damage during transport it must always be ensured that the containers are properly loaded onto the lorry.
Whether in the warehouse or on a lorry, a HybridBox must never be stacked on top of containers or loads that do not have the same stacking system.
Likewise, no other load with a different stacking system should be stacked on top of a HybridBox. Serious accidents can happen when moving such
loads.
Workers must stay at a safe distance from forklifts and must not stand or walk under the load while it is being handled.
