HOW TO ASSEMBLE

TOOL REQUIRED:

PHILLIPS

SCREWDRIVER

HandleAssembly:

1, Rotatehandlebaseto the uprightposition.

WARNING: BEFORE ASSEMBLINGTHEBODYOFTHE CLEANER TO BASE, M AKE SUREPOWERCORDIS DOWNANDOUT OFTHEWAY TOAVOIDPINCHINGCORD,

2. With cord hook to back,piecethe body of the oleaser onte base.Pushtogetherfirmly. Insertlongersorew (1V,')into back of bedyofthe cJeaner t osecure, (Diagram 1).

3. Placehandleontothe bodyof the cleaner, ( Diagram2),

4. Insert clip ontool caddy into hole onbackof handle, (Diagram3), Bring tool caddydownto fit against handle.Insertshorter screw (1"} to securecaddyandhandlesections,

Insertsecond shorter ecrewjust abovecord release(Diagram 4).

AttachTools:

5. Insertnozzleconnectorend of flexible hose into holder.Wrapitexible hoseto the otherside. A) Insert hose intoholderon backof cleaner. B ) Presssides of hose into place

ontool caddy,(Diagram4),

6. insertextension wand andcrevicetool intotool caddy.Attach2-in-1 tool to clip on caddy,Push downto secure,(Diagram 5),

NOTE:Paper bagmust be properly installedbefore operating.

HOW

TO OPERATE: WARmNG: FULLY A SSEMBLE BEFORE O PERATING.

1. Quick CordRelease: To releaseyour cord withoutunwindingit turn the top cord hook to the left or right. Your power cord will nowpull off in one coil, (Diagram 1),

2. Keep the cord out ofthe way while you vacuumby snappingit into the cord guideonthe back of the handle, (Diagram2).

3, Plugcord into electrical o utlet,

4. Step onthe power switch to turn onthe cleaner. Switch is grey andlocatedon the base of the unit. (]) is the international symbol for power.

FLOOR/CARPET C LEANING:

5. Release the handle. With your foot, depressthe handle releasepedal on the left side of the base, (Diagram 3).

6. Move the handleandadjustit to the desired position for (a) storing the upright, (b) operating the cleaner, a nd (e)depress the handle releasepedal againto cleanunder low

furniture, (Diagram4).

ABOVEFLOORCLEANING:Cleanermust be in the locked upright position to lift the rotating brush off the carpet when cleaningabove the floor.

Turncleaner OFFbeforeattachingor removinghose.

1, Snap cleanerintoits uprightposition.

2. Lift door on the nozzleand inserthose endwith nozzleconnector until lockedin position,(Diagram5).

3. Pullthe hose handle from sideof cleaner.

CAUTION:Brushagitator continuesto rotate whilehoseis removed or in use andat all limes while cleaneris on. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, andall portsofbody

away from brusharea while cleaner is on.

4, Chooseany of the handyaccessories or usethe hose alone. Simplypushthe attachment f irmly onto the endof the wand or hose handle.

To removehosefrom nozzle,press latchon nozzleconnector andpuff up, (Diagram6).

NOTE:Removehosefrom nozzlewhencleaningcarpers toinsure propercleaningperformance,

CAUTION:Revolving brushcontinuesto rotate while cleanerhandle is in uprightposition. Avoidtippingcleaner or setting on furniture,fringedarea tugs, or carpeted

stairs duringtool use.
