Pairing:

Pairing process varies among devices but basic steps are the same. This

process is done upon initial install and will not have to be repeated

Turn Ignition and navigation radio "ON"

LED inside adapter peephole will flash (pairing mode)

2. On A2DP device (e.g., Smartphone): Go to

Networks, Bluetooth Settings

Bluetooth

3. Select

and turn on.

4. Then select Bluetooth settings

Scan for devices

5. Tap

6. Wait for the Bluetooth device name to appear and select it. (One of two

devices will display)

LED inside adapter peephole will glow steady (paired)

Settings, Wireless &

Test Operation:

Turn ignition and navigation radio "ON"

2. Press "BAND" button and select XM1/2

3. Launch Smartphone or Tablet music application.

4. Use radio volume control button to set the playback level.

Playlist and Track selection *NOT* possible from

buttons or display. Use audio device (e.g., Smartphone)

built-in controls or optional wireless remote to access

and control audio files.

5. If correct operation is confirmed go ahead and reinstall radio.

Active XM Subscribers:

(Available only if "Subscribed" was selected during

checkout)

1. To listen to XM:

Press "BAND" button on radio, pause streaming or disable Bluetooth on audio

device. XM playback will resume.

2. To return to streaming

Un-pause streaming or re-enable Bluetooth in audio device settings screen.

Note: Music streaming has priority and remains until Bluetooth is paused or

disabled on audio device. XM Playback is only possible if music streaming is

paused, Bluetooth is disabled or device is out of range.
