Connect audio device to jack using included 3 ft. audio cable (See Fig.

8), or similar.
Set audio device to play mode. Audio device will now be heard on car

Use volume control on radio to set the playback level.

Playlist and Track selection are *NOT* possible from the
Radio. You must use the audio devices built-in controls
to access audio files.
To listen to CD Changer simply disconnect audio device from jack and
operate multi-disc changer as customary
If correct operation is confirmed go ahead and reinstall Changer.

1. To listen to CD changer: disconnect your audio device from jack
must be
empty); otherwise CD playback is impaired.
2. FM Modulated multi-disc changer (e.g. Model 16242985), Audiovox, Alpine,
Kenwood etc. are NOT compatible.

NO;
A working Changer required for operation. GM FM Modulated CD
changers are NOT compatible.
2. My vehicle does not have a multi-dis changer, What do I need for an

3. Why is my CD changer playing very low and distorted?
Make sure audio plug (See Fig. 8) is disconnected from jack (jack must be
empty) otherwise CD changer playback may be impaired.
4. My CD changer is broken; will the AUX-GM2 work?
NO;
the CD changer must be in working condition. (able to play CD's)
5. Will I be able to use speakerphone when placing call?
This option is limited to smartphone not the cable.
6. What is the difference between your 4ft. and 12ft. cable?
The 4-ft. cable applies to cd changers in armrest, glove box, etc. and the 12-
ft. cable applies to cd changers in trunk or hatch (e.g. Corvette, Camaro etc.)
7. Does this cable degrade the sound from my device?
NO; What comes in is what goes out. Check device volume level is turned up.

remote multi-disc CD changer refers to changer installed in lower dash, center
armrest, hatch, trunk etc. (remote CD changer is not built-into radio)
