Whilst   m uch   o f   w hat   i s   w ritten   h ere   a pplies   a lso   t o   C   B and   d ish   i nstallation,   C   B and   d ishes   a re   m uch   h arder   t o   i nstall  
correctly   a nd   t his   b rief   g uide   i s   n ot   s pecifically   f or   C   B and   i nstallations.   P rimarily   t his   g uide   c overs   a ligning   a   n ewly   i nstalled  
dish   f or   F reeview.   I t   w ill   a lso   b e   u seful   i f   y our   d ish   h as   m oved   i n   t he   w ind   a nd   n eeds   r ealigning.  
 
1. This   s tep   b egins   a fter   y ou   h ave   i nstalled   y our   s atellite   d ish   a nd   f itted   t he   L NB.   S et   t he   L NB   s o   t he   F   c onnector   f aces  
the   8   o 'clock   p osition   i f   y ou   w ere   l ooking   i nto   t he   d ish   l ike   a   c lock   f ace.   T his   m eans   y ou   a re   l ooking   a t   t he   b ack   o f   t he  
LNB   w ith   t he   F   c onnector   ( where   t he   c able   c onnects)   a t   8   o 'clock.   T ighten   t he   L NB   h older.  
Make   a   r ough   a djustment   o f   t he   d ish   b y   u sing   a   c ompass   t o   a lign   i t   t o   t he   c ompass   s etting   r equired   f or   y our   a rea.  
Also   s et   t he   e levation   u sing   t he   s cale   o n   t he   d ish   o r   u sing   a n   i nclinometer.   T he   c ompass   s etting   a nd   e levation   f or   t he  
satellite   F reeview   u ses   i s   i n   t he   t able   o n   p age   2 .   J ust   u se   y our   n earest   t own.  
 
2. The   S F95   m eter   c omes   w ith   a   s hort   l ength   o f   c oax   c able   w ith   F   c onnectors   f itted.   C onnect   t his   c able   b etween   t he  
LNB   a nd   t he   ' LNB'   c onnection   o n   t he   S F95   m eter.  
 
3. Make   s ure   y our   s atellite   r eceiver   i s   t urned   o ff,   a nd   t hen   c onnect   t he   c able   f rom   y our   s atellite   r eceiver   t o   t he   ' REC'  
connection   o n   t he   S F95   m eter.   Y ou   n ow   h ave   y our   S F95   m eter   b eside   y our   d ish,   c onnected   i n   t he   c able   l ine   b etween  
the   d ish   a nd   y our   r eceiver.   T urn   y our   s atellite   r eceiver   o n   a nd   c hoose   a   c hannel   t hat   y ou   k now   i s   o n   t he   s atellite   y ou  
wish   t o   r eceive.   F or   e xample   i f   y ou   a re   a ligning   y our   d ish   f or   F reeview   s elect   T VOne.
