Parts of the Screen

(1) Menu bar

The menu bar is used for creating new files, saving files,

and changing what is displayed on the screen.

[File] menu: Provides commands for operations such as

creating and saving template files.

[Edit] menu: Provides commands for adding and deleting

image areas.

[View] menu: Toggles display of the toolbar and status bar

on/off.

[Window] menu: Switches template preview between

[Cascade] and [Tile] layouts.

[Help] menu: Displays version information for ID Photo

Template Editor.

(2) Toolbar

Used for editing the template.

(New) button: Creates a new template file.

(Open) button: Opens an previously saved template

file.

(Save) button: Overwrites the existing template file.

(Add) button: Adds an image area to the template that

is being edited.

(Delete) button: Deletes an image area.

(Help) button: Displays version information for ID

Photo Template Editor.

(3) Units selection bar

Switches the units used for image area display. Available

units are pixels, inches, and mm.

(4) Display zoom selection bar

Toggles the amount of zoom used with template preview.

Available zoom sizes are 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%.
