GENERAL INFORMATION
The following information should be reviewed before using or
installing this heater:
The heater features a fully automatic ignition and control system.
When the power is supplied to the heater the gas valve opens,
allowing gas to enter the burner. A spark is generated at the ignition
electrode and this is used to ignite the gas.
The electrodes are also used to monitor the flame. When the flame
has been established the sparking ceases and the heater
commences normal operation.
If a flame is not established, the spark is interrupted after a few
seconds and the gas valve closes. The heater will then lockout,
and will not make another attempt to ignite. The power supply to
the heater must be switched off and then switched back on again
before another ignition attempt is made.
