If this happens:
The humidifier will not
turn on.
The tank leaks.
Water Tray does not
fill.
Tank cap is difficult to
remove.
Possible cause:
Unit may not be plugged in.
The rubber gasket in the
tank cap may be loose,
missing, or damaged.
The tank cap may not be
locked in place.
There may be a particle of
debris trapped under the
rubber washer in the center
of the filler cap.
Tank may not be correctly
seated on the base.
A vacuum may have formed
inside the tank, especially if
it has been left in place for
an extended time.
Suggested solution:
Plug in the power cord.
Be certain the tank cap gasket is
firmly in place. If it is missing or
damaged, contact Customer Care.
Do not use the humidifier without
the gasket in place.
Be certain the "Locked" arrows
on the tank cap line up with the
ridges on the spout.
Check the washer to be sure it is
intact and in place.
Check to be sure that the cord or
some other object is not caught
between the tank and the base. If
not, wiggle the tank slightly. If it is
firmly in place, it should not shift
position.
Press on the rubber washer in the
middle of the tank cap to relieve
any vacuum.
