ATTACK

Time the Ducker will take to reach the set gain reduction value after being triggered by the

Aux Signal signal exceeding the threshold. The higher the attack value, the longer it takes the

Ducker to reach the final gain reduction.

Right-click the ATTACK dial to display a menu that lets you set the Attack time to a

specific note value.

HOLD

Time the Ducker will keep its full gain reduction even when the threshold is not exceeded

anymore. When the threshold gets exceeded again during hold time, the hold duration will be

extended accordingly.

When using Hysteresis, the HOLD function is disabled by default and will light up red.

To use HOLD in conjunction with Hysteresis, enable "Allow Hysteresis+Hold" by right-clicking

the HYSTERESIS dial and selecting the according option.

Right-click the HOLD dial to display a menu that lets you set the Hold time to a specific

note value.

RELEASE

Time the Ducker takes to revert back to its original state. When One Shot mode is enabled,

this is also the time until the Ducker starts to "listen" to the aux signal again.

Please note: Very short Attack and Release times might cause distortion when working with

low frequencies. This might happen when the Attack and/or Release are shorter than the

frequencies' oscillating period.

Right-click the RELEASE dial to display a menu that lets you set the Release time to a

specific note value.

DIFF LISTEN

Enable DIFF LISTEN to make Ducker Pro 2 output only the difference between the altered

and unaltered signal.

Using this mode can help you fine-tune your settings by hearing exactly when the Ducker is

working. Whenever the plug-in outputs anything in DIFF LISTEN mode, Ducker Pro 2 is

altering your signal.

Tip: Set your track to SOLO when using DIFF LISTEN.

LIVE

Enabling LIVE mode temporarily disables LOOKAHEAD and DIFF LISTEN modes for

minimising latency.

LOOKAHEAD / DELAY

Turn this dial to the left to increase Lookahead. Ducker Pro 2 will then react to your Aux signal
