Set at NORMAL, the meter only
functions while the
shutter
button
is
depressed,
as a power-saving
measure. At
HOLD,
the meter op-
erates for
16
seconds, freeing
both hands to adjust the camera
or
lighting.
The
same happens on
LIGHT;
but in
addition the
view-
finder
display is illuminated for
shooting in low-light
co
nditions.
Touching the
battery check but-
ton or
releasing
the
shutter
can-
cels the 16-second delay in either
HOLD
or
LIGHT
modes.

The
metering
range
is a wide EV-1 to
EV20
(ASA 100; 50mm
f/14),
permitting
shutter
speeds
of
down
to
4
seconds.
The
film
speed range is

wider
