doomoo Cocoon is a cosy, comfortable and safe baby nest. It offers a made to measure space for
the baby and provides a safe feeling during the transition from warm belly to own bed, playpen, etc.
doomoo Cocoon is developed with the softest materials, provided with breathable 3D material around
baby's head and has no strings or other small parts that could pose a risk to your little one. A removable
belt keeps baby comfortably on their back. The nest can be opened at the bottom, making it suitable
for children from birth up to 6 months. At home or on the go, baby will feel delightfully comfortable and
safe in his doomoo Cocoon.
Enjoy the doomoo Cocoon. Please read the instructions carefully before use.

WARNING - This item is only suitable for infants who cannot sit up unaided, roll over independently,
or pull themselves up on hands and knees. Maximum weight of child: 9 kg
•
Stop using the product as soon as your baby starts to roll over independently or if their head
touches the top edge of the nest. Please keep an eye on your baby if you feel they may roll over.
•
Before use, make sure that the nest is assembled correctly and completely.
•
Only use the doomoo Cocoon on a stable, clean and horizontal surface.
•
WARNING - Risk of Falling: This product should not be placed high up or on any piece of furniture
other than a crib, cot or playpen. The sides must be at least 35 cm high. The nest should not be used
to replace the sides of the bed or crib in which it is to be set up.
•
WARNING - Do not use the doomoo Cocoon in a carrycot or Moses basket.
•
WARNING - Never leave your child unsupervised in the babynest.
•
WARNING - Remove the child before moving the nest.
•
WARNING - DANGER of suffocation, NEVER use in parents' bed. It is very dangerous to place your
child to sleep in your bed and the authorities point out that accidents have previously occurred.

SUFFOCATION HAZARD: NEVER PLACE padded items or extra blankets under or next to your baby.
Accidents have been known to occur.

As soon as your baby is born, put them to sleep flat on their back in their own bed with a firm
mattress. Never put your baby to sleep on their stomach or on their side.

For babies under 3 months, use the belly band. To do this, attach the belly band to the velcro
in the middle of the nest. Then place your baby on their back and hook the velcro of the belly
band around your baby's abdomen. The purpose of the belly band is to reassure your baby and to
prevent the very early movements that are difficult to anticipate. The belly band should never be
used beyond the recommended age and/or to restrain a baby. This can be dangerous.

Ensure that the belt does not compress the baby's abdomen and chest by leaving a space of two
adult fingers between the belt and the baby's body.
•
Do not use the safety belt once your baby is able to roll over independently.
•
doomoo Cocoon is intended for use from birth up to 6 months (depending on the size of your baby).
•
Put your child to sleep on their back. This reduces the risk of SIDS.
•
After putting your baby into the nest, check that their head is positioned on the upper part made
of breathable fabric.
•
Please note that soft objects such as pillows and stuffed toys should not be placed in your baby's bed.
•
Take note of the temperature in the room and the baby's clothes and make sure that the baby is
not too hot or too cold; excessive heat can endanger your baby's life.
•
doomoo Cocoon has not been designed to avoid the risk of cot death.
•
In the nest you can also put your baby on their tummy, which has a positive influence on their
development. Only do this if they are awake and under your constant supervision.
•
Do not use in the car.
•
WARNING - Do not use the doomoo Cocoon if any of the elements are broken, torn or missing.
•
WARNING: Do not place the bed close to naked flames and other sources of intense heat, such as
electric heaters, gas heaters, etc.
•
Keep all product packaging out of reach of babies and children during and after unpacking to
avoid the risk of asphyxiation.
•
Wash the doomoo Cocoon before using for the first time.
CARING INSTRUCTIONS: Remove the soft foam and the side padding from the nest; Close the bottom of
the Cocoon before putting it in the washing machine; Cover machine- washable at 30°; No tumble dry.
DOOMOO COCOON PAD: An extra pad is also available separately. It makes product care easier and
allows continuous use of the doomoo Cocoon.
