Battery test

To measure voltage stored in a battery.
1.
Set the Rotary Switch to the range
that matches the battery under test.
• Selections are 12V, 9V or 1.5V.
2.
Plug the red lead to the input Jack.
Plug the black test lead into cOM jack.
3.
Connect the red test lead to the
positive (+) terminal of the battery
and the black test lead to the
negative (-) terminal of battery.

Read the measurement
on the Meter Display.
WarninG! To prevent damage to
the Meter, do not connect the Meter
to a battery with a voltage rating
exceeding 60 VAC or 30 VDC.
5.
When testing is complete, turn
Rotary Switch to OFF, remove
Test Leads and store with Meter.
