Names and Functions of Parts
Document Cover
Close this to keep documents in place while scanning.
You can fold this cover for easy document placement during
continuous scanning of multiple small documents.
Scanning Glass
Power Indicator
This lights when the flatbed is turned ON and flashes when
scanning is in progress.
Stop Button
Press this button to stop scan procedures in progress.
Start Button
Press this button to start scanning the document placed on the
scanning glass.
Lock Switch
Use this to lock the internal scanning unit into place.
Power Switch
Use this to turn the flatbed ON and OFF.
USB Connector (Type B)
Use this connector to connect the flatbed to a scanner that uses an
AC adapter.
This connector is not used when a scanner that does not use an
AC adapter is used.
USB Connector (Type A)
Use this connector to connect the flatbed to a computer.
Power Connector
Connect the provided AC adapter here.
