The BIBETA 5 comes in one size because
it tolerates different wing loadings very well
and has a wide takeoff weight range –
120 kg to 225 kg. It flies best within the range
of 150 kg to 190 kg. But even at the upper
and lower limits this wing only reacts a little
to different loadings. Because the BIBETA 5
is very easy to takeoff getting airborne at low
wing loadings poses no problem, and even
at the top limit of the recommended range
the BIBETA 5 lands softly and safely
in no wind.
