SNMP traps can be set-up for current threshold crossings, breaker trips or blown fuses, voltage
threshold crossings and temperature threshold crossings.

Sensor data and configuration data can be polled by issuing commands from the customer's NMS.

The customer's NMS is used to store all collected data. The nrgSMART controller provides data
acquisition; it does not provide any data storage and stores no data records. The controller only
stores settings.

NOTE: For all nrgSMART panels: When installing, removing, or changing the values of fuses or circuit
breakers, ensure the changes are updated in the nrgSMART HTML Configuration/User Interface.
5. The nrgNET serial connectors, nrgTEMP connectors, and dry contact alarm terminals are located in the
rear center of the panel. Refer to Figure 2.
6. The Amphenol Network Solutions proprietary serial communication link, nrgNET, connects nrgSMART
CTRL controller panels in a daisy-chain to up to 30 nrgSMART SENS panels. Legacy nrgSMART panels
used a single cable with five conductors to provide power and data communication. CTRL and SENS
panels use the same five conductor cable to provide data communication only; the two power conductors
are not used.
ALERT: Do not use the nrgNET cable to connect multiple CTRL panels together.
ALERT: Do not use the nrgNET cable to connect a CTRL panel to an nrgCONTROL-BT external controller.
ALERT: Do not use the nrgNET cable to connect a CTRL panel to an nrgBDFB-XLW controller.
ALERT: The CTRL integrated controller does not support first generation nrgSMART panels
