Getting Started

1. First, take the styrofoam container out of the cardboard carton and lay it on its side, paying attention to which

side is labeled up. Remove the tape and open the container carefully so as to avoid dropping and damaging the

unit. Check carefully to ensure that all parts and accessories are intact.

2. Check the packing list to ensure that you're received all items. Please note that this can vary depending on

which model you've purchased, and is generally listed on www.amscope.com at the items' details page for your

specific model.

3. Remove the stand's components from the styrofoam. Attach the foot joint to the base and secure using includ-

ed hex screws and allen keys.

4. Place the vertical pillar into the joint and secure, followed by the safety collar. Secure the collar before insert-

ing the horizontal boom arm.

5. Secure the boom arm, then insert and secure the drop down pillar.

6. Attach the focusing rack to the drop down pillar, and secure. Your stand is now complete and ready for any 3"

microscope head to be inserted.
