OPERATING THE POLISHER

9.1 OPERATING THE POLISHER

SWITCH (FIG.5)

To start the polisher, pull the trigger

hold. For prolonged operation, it is possible to

lock the trigger in the ON position. Pull trigger

and hold to start the polisher and push

button

. This will lock the trigger in the ON

position. To release the lock, pull trigger

and release.

VARIABLE SPEED SETTING (FIG.6)

Set the variable speed in accordance to the

cutting paste/compound or polish being used.

Read the manufacturers instructions regarding

this. No responsibility or liability is accepted by

Draper Tools regarding the setting of the

correct speed for the job to be done. The

speed settings are approximately as per table

below.

Speed setting

NOTE: We strongly recommend that the

polisher, speed setting, the polishing

sponge/mop and medium being used are

tested on a small, obscure area before

applying to a vehicle panel or similar.

IMPORTANT: Excessive pressure on the

machine does not result in higher working

speed. It increases wear on the disc and can

damage the polisher.
