Proper use
•
This product is intended for peeling and slicing food.
•
The product is designed for private use and not suitable for
commercial application.
•
Only use the product for the specifi ed purpose. Any other use
is deemed improper.
•
Defects arising due to improper handling, damage or attempts
at repair are excluded from the warranty. This also applies to
normal wear and tear.
Safety notes
ATTENTION!
•
Risk of injury! Keep children and animals away from the prod-
uct. Do not leave children and animals alone with the prod-
uct without supervision. They could injure themselves on the
blades.
•
Risk of injury associated with sharp blades! The blades are
sharp. Do not hold the product by the blades but only by the
handle to avoid cut injuries!
•
Risk of injury due to improper use! Only use the product for
the specifi ed purpose. If used for purposes other than intended
(e.g. as a tool), the blades could break and cause injury to you.
•
Risk of injury due to incorrect handling! Do not bend the blades.
The blades could break and you could injure yourself on them.
•
Risk of injury! Do not use the product if it is damaged! Only in
this way can injuries be ruled out during use.
•
Product damage due to heat! Do not place the product on hot
surfaces, e.g. on stovetops or ovens, to prevent damage to the
product.

Use
1. Unpack the product contents and check to make sure they are
complete and free from transport damages. If the product is
damaged, do not use it(!); contact customer service instead.
2. Some production residues may be stuck to the product. There-
fore wash it thoroughly with warm water and a mild detergent
before fi rst use.
3. Select the desired blade and adjust it by turning the blade hold-
er until the desired blade is in the correct position.
Notice: The product is in the normal
position if two blades are in the top
position and are parallel to one another
(see fi gure 1).
If only one blade is in the top position,
only peel or cut by holding the product
down at a 90° angle (see fi gure 2).
Cleaning and storage
ATTENTION!
•
Damage due to corrosion! Stuck leftover food can cause the
formation of stains and damage due to corrosion. Before fi rst
use and immediately after every subsequent use, clean the
product with warm water and a mild detergent.
•
Damage due to improper cleaning products! When cleaning,
do not use any scouring or aggressive cleaners. They may
damage the surfaces of the blades!
•
Damage due to corrosion! Always dry the product carefully after
cleaning to avoid the formation of stains!
•
Put the blade guard on the blades to pre-
pare the product for storage: To do so,
push both top handles of the blade guard
together; it will bend apart so that it can
be fi tted with ease. To remove it, push the
handles together as before and simply
pull the blade guard off.
•
Store the product in a clean, dry area that is not accessible to
children and animals.
Disposal
The packaging material is recyclable. Dispose of the
packaging in an environmentally-friendly manner and
make it available to the collection service for recyclable
materials.
