Do not place the kettle on or near a hot gas, an electric burner, a hot oven

or any other potentially hot surface.
Never fill in the kettle when it is positioned in its power base.

Do not operate the kettle without anything or with insufficient water in it to

avoid damaging the heating elements.
Ensure that the kettle is used on a stable, dry and flat surface out of reach of
•
children, this will prevent the kettle from overturning and prevent damage
or injury.
To protect against a fire, electric shock or personal injury, do not immerse
•
power cord, electric plug or kettle in water or other liquids.
•
While water is boiling, or just after the water has finished boiling, avoid
contact with steam from the spout. Never open the lid of the kettle while it is
boiling the water.
Always take care to pour boiling water slowly and carefully without tipping
•
the kettle too fast.
Do not refill the kettle while it is still hot.
•
Do not touch the hot exterior surface of the kettle.
•
This kettle should only be connected to a British Standard power outlet
•
installed by an approved electrician. The kettle should not be connected to
an extension cord or plug.
•
The power base cannot be used for purposes other than its intended use.
Extreme caution must be used when handling the kettle containing hot
•
water.
•
The kettle is for household use only. Do not use outdoors or for other
purposes for which it is not intended.
The use of accessory attachments that are not recommended by the

appliance manufacturer, may result in fire, electric shock or personal injury.
Unplug the kettle from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow

the kettle to cool completely before putting on or taking off parts, and before
cleaning or storing it.

To disconnect, turn off the kettle and then remove plug from wall outlet.
Do not use the appliance for any other purpose other than its intended use.

If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may spill out.
•
