Insert Battery:

Open the battery compartment situated underneath the base of the scale and insert 1 unit 9 V mono

bloc alkaline battery. Close the compartment properly and make sure that it is safely secured.

Dispose off used batteries as special waste and do not mix with household waste.

Only use the scale after positioning on a firm and even ground.

For new born babies use the delivered baby tray for weighing.

Fixing the baby tray:

1. Remove the rubber plugs from the scale platform and store them out of reach of children.

2. Place the baby tray onto the scale platform ensuring that the tray feet insert into the holes on the

platform left behind by removing the rubber plugs. Place the locking key into the hole in the centre

of the weighing tray for security.

3. Using a coin twist the locking key 90° anti clockwise to activate the locking key.

4. Ensure that the tray is properly secured. You should not be able to remove the tray from the scale

platform.

5. Once the tray is secured the scale is ready to weigh.
