Install a new hard drive

Both the USB and Firewire IEEE 1394 installations are "Plug & Play" devices

requiring no additional software. Therefore, installation is dependent on proper

connection of the cables, powering up hardware and working USB or Firewire

IEEE 1394 ports, as needed.

To install a 3,5" hard drive using XPacket Storage Device

USB Connection

1. Open the XPacket Storage Device enclosure cover.

2. Connect the 40-pin IDE connector and power connector from XPacket Storage

Device to the hard drive.
