Changing the door hinge side

The swivel door of the built-in frame is pre-fitted

with the hinge on the left. The door hinge can be

converted to the right-hand side.

Proceed as follows:

– Place the frame on the door using a suitable soft

pad.

– Remove the four securing screws of the bottom

trim of the built-in frame (A in Fig. 1).

– You can now detach the door and the bottom trim

from the built-in frame.

– Undo the stopper in the hole for accommodation

of the door journal (B in Fig. 1). Secure the

stopper in the opposite hole.

– Turn the door by 180°. Secure the door and the

bottom trim back on the built-in frame.

– Remove the bottom screw from the door handle

(Fig. 2).

– Remove the top screw from the door handle and

detach the door handle.

– Hold the front window with one hand and lightly

shake the door to and fro. The glass window can

be removed towards you (Fig. 3).

– Turn the glass window by 180°. The Gaggenau

inscription must be at the bottom.

– Install in the reverse order. In doing so, make sure

that you first insert the window on the hinge side

and that you hold it with one hand to stop it from

falling out.
