choke) of the 3 lug terminal strip. Locate the shorter of the two choke leads and

after trimming to length connect to this same lug (#3).

50. Locate the remaining choke lead and after trimming to length connect to lug #1

(nearest the front of the amplifier) of the three lug terminal strip (to the right of

the right bias potentiometer).

You are nearly finished. All that is necessary to complete your restoration is to install the

new driver module (restoration or upgrade) and wire in the quad capacitor module. The

documentation cited at the introduction of this document should be referenced for the

correct procedure to install, wire, and power up these modules.

1. The Teflon wire kit includes 4 sections of 22 ga. Teflon insulated wire in various

colors (Red, Black, White & Green) specified by this project.

2. X6a is available in kit or assembled versions. Kit P/N is KIT-3R; Assembled P/N

is ASM-3R. Available option is polypropylene signal capacitors.

3. X6b is available in kit or assembled versions. Kit P/N is KIT-3U; Assembled P/N

is ASM-3U. Available options are polypropylene signal capacitors; DC Balance

and AC balance adjustments.

A complete kit including all of the items listed in the Bill of Materials is available from

CAE. Version 1 includes the Restoration Driver Module (X6a). Version 2 includes

Upgrade Driver Module (X6b). To order specify the part number as follows:
