ADJUSTING THE PRESSURE SWITCH

The pressure switch comes pre-set from the factory to match the performance

of the filters . If you change the filter configuration after purchasing the unit, you

may need to adjust the pressure switch setting .

Indications that you need to adjust the pressure switch:

• if the filter light is still illuminated after a filter change

• if it illuminates prematurely, shortly after the filter is changed

If either of these symptoms occur, adjust the pressure switch as follows:

1 . Install new filters and cartridges following:

• Steps 1 - 2, Opening the Grills, page 6 .

• Steps 1 - 6, Change the Filter and Cartridge, page 7 .

2 . Remove the right side grill (opposite end of

control panel) following steps 1 - 2, Opening the

Grills, page 6 . Turn unit to "System On" position .

3 . Insert a flat headed screwdriver, 7 inch

minimum screwdriver shaft, into the

Adjustment Tube . It will line up with the

Adjustment Screw .
